چکیده
Objective: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the radiological and functional results of titanium elastic nail (TEN), which was used as a surgical method in pediatric long bone diaphyseal fractures between 5-15 years age, by comparing it with clinical features patient fracture. Methods: 44 patients (11 girls, 33 boys) aged (mean 9.86 ±2.84) were included. The patient, family satisfaction, evaluation fracture according Flynn Criteria, time union, stay hospital, school absence examined. Results: TEN applied mostly femur (n;18), tibia (n;14), forearm (n;12) diaphysis fractures, respectively. Most seen result high energy closed middle diaphysis, transverse pattern most. surgeries performed method. satisfaction at level. most excellent, but no poor observed. Bone union higher ten older undergoing open surgery, less shape (p<0.05). not attend highest type, surgery Ulna 13.1 ± 1.8 weeks, than hospital 3.50 0.79 / 4.29 1.54 3.33 0.49 days femur/tibia/forearm respectively, (p<0.05).Conclusions: is an effective safe for children years, low complication rates positive effects on health system.

Diaphyseal femoral fractures in children treated with titanium elastic nail system.
Femur fractures are common long bone injuries in children which account for less than 2% of all paediatric fractures. Although these fractures are dramatic and disabling injuries for the child and parent, the good part is that they unite rapidly with minimal complications if aligned well. Various methods have been used successfully to treat these fractures, but they differ in their stability an...

AIM To report the clinical and radiographic results of titanium elastic nail (TEN) in diaphyseal femoral fractures of children below age of six years. METHODS A retrospective analysis of 27 diaphyseal femoral fractures in children younger than six years treated with TEN between 2005 and 2015 was conducted. Patients were immobilized in a cast for 5 wk and the nails were removed from 6 to 12 wk...
